Project Overview

The Halliburton Liquid Mud plant (LMP) is a facility designed for the production, storage, delivery, and receipt of synthetic oil-based mud (SBM) and brines. It also has the capability to receive contaminated fluids from supply vessels, perform cleaning, and reconditioning. Additionally, it can perform barite recovery when required. The plant is designed to maintain good drilling mud properties in the wellbore as much as possible and is essential for the deep and ultra deep onshore drilling activities

Scope of Work

Provided Project Management and Technical Engineering support during the phased expansion of the LMP Baroid facility at Jafurah, contributing to the successful delivery of one of the largest land-based Baroid plants in Saudi Arabia.

Led multidisciplinary coordination across planning, civil construction, electrical infrastructure, instrumentation systems, mechanical installations, and water recirculation processes to support seamless project execution across both development phases.

Supported project delivery through proactive risk identification, technical oversight, and structured coordination between engineering and site activities, while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and scheduling requirements to achieve key project milestones and commercial objectives.
