Project Overview

The Halliburton Liquid Mud plant (LMP) is a facility designed for the production, storage, delivery, and receipt of synthetic oil-based mud (SBM) and brines. It also has the capability to receive contaminated fluids from supply vessels, perform cleaning, and reconditioning. Additionally, it can perform barite recovery when required. The plant is designed to maintain good drilling mud properties in the wellbore as much as possible and is essential for the deep and ultra deep onshore drilling activities

Scope of Work

• To provide Project Management Services 
• Provide Technical Engineering services 
• Communicate with the the Client and advise on Progress, Issues and Project Delivery

Provided Project Management and Technical Engineering support for the development of a new greenfield satellite LMP facility at Shaybah.

Led the technical coordination and implementation of engineering requirements across multiple disciplines, including civil construction, electrical infrastructure, instrumentation systems, mechanical installations, and water recirculation processes, ensuring seamless integration from concept through execution.

Supported project delivery through proactive risk identification, structured planning, and close alignment between design intent and site activities, while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and scheduling requirements to achieve project objectives.
